President Mac Donald has been active in creating new partnerships, and opportunities for WDF, as he continue to grow in his leadership role. March, 2018

In Washington DC and at the United Nations in New York, leaders at the center of development have called him to their offices for meetings and discussion regarding future cooperation. Many leaders have seen that the public-private initiative, particularly when it promotes strong institutions and transparency (key to SDG #16 and #17), all stakeholders stand to gain through these development modes.

President’s Reports: On his first meetings as president, in the US capitol, Dr. Mac Donald met with the Organization of American States (OAS), Inter American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR), Executive Secretariat for Integral Development (SEDI), Inter American Commission of Women (CIM), International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Inter-American Development Bank and the World Bank, and the Center for Strategic International Studies (CSIS).

Throughout his Latina American, Washington DC and NY appearances, meetings with former colleagues have been ongoing and will surely yield new alliances based on long-term relations there.
